The Obstetric and Surgical Clinic “Iatros” was established in 1992 in Warsaw. At present since January, 2003 it has been operating in a new, commodious building adapted for handicapped patients in Wojskowa Street 13A.
Our Clinic is located in a peaceful and green part of Warsaw on the left bank of the Vistula River, District of Targówek.
In front of the clinic there is a large parking for our patients and their guests.

Since the beginning of our activity we have been mainly dealing with:
- obstetrics
- gynaecology
- one day surgery
- urology

Thousands of operations and labours establish output of our ten-years activity. Our patients eagerly come back to us with their families and recommend us to their friends. Several patients gave birth to their children with us even four times.
The owner of the Clinic, Andrzej Ostaszewski and his team of experienced doctors and nurses co-operating with him for many years invite patients for family labours and other medical services.

- specialistic consultations, examination, tests and interventions in the scope of urology,
- recent treatment of benign prostate hyperplasia,
- interventions with Greenlight PVP,
- prostate diseases (hyperplasia and prostatitis,
- urinary bladder diseases (tumours and inflammatory diseases)
- postoperative care (after discharge) for 24 hours a day
- medical consultations,
- laboratory tests (including blood analysis) – complete scope,
- prophylactic vaccinations in adults and children (compulsory and recommended),
- newest vaccines

Below we give approximate prices of some medical procedures offered by us.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology:
- Attention: We do not admit natural labours
- Caesarean section: 6900 PLN (including 3 days of stay),
- Laparotomy in gynaecology: 4300 PLN + stay
- Laparoscopy: 2500 – 3000 PLN
- Hysteroscopy: 2300 PLN
- Prophylactic vaccinations in adults and children: competitive prices
- Blood tests – full range: prices depending on types
One-day Surgery in Adults and Children (Surgery, Laryngology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Gynaecology)
- Cholecystectomy (traditionally): 2500 PLN
- Cholecystectomy (laparoscopy): 2500 PLN
- Hernia Operations (various): 2000 PLN
- Appendectomy: 2500 PLN
- Cryptorchism, Hydrocele: 1500-2000 PLN
- Phimosis: 800-1200 PLN
- Foot Operations (various plastic operations, i.e. talipes equinovarus, talipes valgus, talipes varus, polydactyly): 3000 – 6000 PLN
- Diagnostic and Operative Laparoscopy: 2500 – 3000 PLN
- Varicoceles: 1500 – 3000 PLN
- Prostate Operations (traditional and electroresections): 2500 PLN
- Kidneys Operations (cysts, calculi, neoplasms): 2500 PLN
- Urinary Bladder Tumours Electroresections: 1700 – 2000 PLN
- Cystoscopy: 700 PLN
The prices of all the above mentioned interventions include general anaesthesia but not the costs of stay and histological examination.
Stay: one day - 24 hours: 500 PLN (separate room, individual nurse care), half a day: 250 PLN.
